Title IX
SAU 23 Title IX Admin Training
Working in collaboration with Drummond Woodsum, we held a comprehensive three-part Title IX training for personnel employed by School Administrative Units 23. The training covered the essential information that Title IX Coordinators, Human Rights Officers and other school personnel need to know in order to confidently implement the new Title IX regulations and other nondiscrimination laws, and to conduct effective investigations. Major changes to the Title IX regulations went into effect on August 14, 2020 and drastically alter school district obligations in addressing incidents of sexual harassment. The new rules require that Title IX Coordinators and school administrators involved in investigating, deciding, or resolving sexual harassment complaints receive specific training on the rules and relevant topics. This training satisfies the new rules.
